• Task 01 (A01) - Startup and Turn off the Computer

- Computer should be started up in the specified sequence.
- It should be ensured that all peripheral devices are connected and in working condition.
- It should be ensured that the desktop environment is completely loaded.
- It should be ensured that before turning off the computer, all the opened, used and non-responding applications are closed, following the specified procedure.

• Task 02 (A02) - Customize computer and desktop settings

- System information, operating system, and version number, available random access memory (RAM) should be obtained.

- Color settings should be applied for optimal view as per the standard procedure.

- User account should be created with a strong password and according to the requirement.

- Regional settings should be selected according to the country requirements.

- Desktop should be organized / customized to maximize the user and computer efficiency.

• Task 03 (A03) - Create folders and files

- Folder / file name should be meaningful and created according to the requirement.

- File / folder should be saved in the given location.

• Task 04 (A04) - Perform Folder/File operations

- The specified folder/file should be selected / saved / moved / copied to the required destination.

- It should be ensured that the specified folder / file is deleted and recovered from the recycle bin as required. 

• Task 05 (A05) - Set attributes of files folders

- Folder / file attributes should be changed to suit the status of the file / folder.

• Task 06 (A06) - Compress and extract folder/files

- Folder / files should be compressed and extracted as per the requirement following the standard procedure.

• Task 07 (A07) - Backup and restore folders/ files

- Backed up files should be created as per the standard procedure and able to restore to their original status.
